Christian Wolff is a math genius and has always been better with numbers than with people. He works with his specialist knowledge for large rogue organizations in the world in order to manipulate their figures. When the Treasury Department's anti-crime brigade gets a little too close to him, he takes on a legitimate job as a distraction: checking the books of a robot firm, but things don't seem right here either.

A very original concept... just a shame about the execution.
Ben Affleck plays the stars of heaven here as the dissenters Christian Wolff... Someone who was able to avoid the homes and Mongolian institutions thanks to his father. Thanks to that, he's a professional codebreaker at global agencies rather than someone who cobbles together crafts and puppets under the supervision of a very sweet-looking female. Aha... and that's why we keep those people under our thumb... Because they know too much. Fuck the world!
The beginning, that flashback with that puzzle is very strong and it seems to be getting something in this matter. But unfortunately the interesting subject manages to remain very superficial and monotonous with little momentum. A lot of philosophical posturing about Wolff where every time I think: when will something happen. For that you have to wait until the end, which treats us to a solid portion of action.... But that should have happened more often in this film.
Shame about the tempo, which could have been a bit higher. But a very interesting topic nonetheless.

What's next? The Bookkeeper? Stupid comments from those who think this is a good movie. What a backwardness. What an interesting and semi mystical thing. Huuu. In itself good actress Kendrick clearly couldn't handle adding any substance to this either. Perhaps she and Affleck often got into a groove with the recordings.
