moderately. Looks pretty okay, but the jokes are too forced (which is partly due to the voices that aren't great).

2.5*

I had planned to watch some more different animation films, so I ended up with Igor.

I'm not really excited about it. The characters remained flat, the introduction was way too long and I also didn't always find the humor very present. Visually, it was also nowhere to be seen. This is one of the less beautifully made animated films.

The story itself is as old as the road to Rome, the morals are almost forced upon you and the oversentimental sweetness is also present. ''Accept yourself as you are'' and more of that posturing.

The voice cast managed to take it somewhat to a higher level. This and a few fun scenes make it worth looking out for, as it sometimes feels a tad long-winded.

This is definitely fun for the young target group, but for adults it's nothing to write home about.

I can be relatively brief about this: this was not a film to write home about. The story, the dialogues and the characters were very cliché, a shame because the premise (on every mountain in the country there is a mad scientist who together extorts the world with weapons of mass destruction) was very interesting. I had the idea that the plot and scenario were rather rushed, so that the nice idea came to nothing. Two points made it worth looking at: the animations were okay and the occasional funny jokes (mainly from Igor's sidekicks, played by Sean Hayes and the by definition legendary Steve Buscemi).
