Alles Is Liefde plot
Everything Is Love is all about love, in all conceivable combinations. Klaasje (Wendy van Dijk) is separated from Dennis (Peter Paul Muller) after he cheated on her with their son's teacher (Chantal Janzen). Although Dennis wants her back, his chances seem lost when Klaasje encounters an attractive young lover (Valerio Zeno). Simone, the best friend of Klaasje (Anneke Blok) is the pivot of her family, which she leads through the busy daily life with tight schedules. As a result, her husband Ted (Thomas Acda) often feels left out and redundant. When he is fired as a crane operator, he does not dare to tell her. Lifeguard Victor (Paul de Leeuw) is looking forward to his upcoming wedding to Kees, his great love (Daan Schuurmans). As December 5 approaches and all love lines come together through the mysterious Sinterklaas figure Jan (Michiel Romeyn), the love troubles seem to be overcome...

"And what do we do with love?" could also have been called this decidedly funny film with some original finds.
There are quite a few characters floating around, each with their own love problem and it is inevitable that some stories are more lifelike than others.
I think it's pretty good that everything ends in happy endings. That's how it should be in love.
Dean Martin's "lazy voice" with "You're nobody 'till somebody loves you" is a fitting entrée.

Excellent film in which the Sinterklaas entry is in danger when the saint is hit by a heart attack. The Dutch answer to Love Actually may not match that film, but it has been more than successful in its design and also has a wonderful atmosphere. The simple, but entertaining and moving storylines are edited together in an entertaining way. The sometimes witty dialogues are due to Kim van Kooten. Furthermore, a fine cast with the charming Carice van Houten at the forefront.

A film with a nice, warm and romantic atmosphere. The longer I looked at it, the more I came to appreciate it and I think there are beautiful dialogues in it. I think the acting is generally good. In terms of style and story, I do like the sequel, "Everything is family". I haven't seen "Love actually" yet. I'm curious about it. I give this movie 3.5*.
