Cafe Society plot

To win a bet, Christopher West, a wealthy society woman, marries reporter Crick O'Bannon. Crick thinks this marriage is a bond of love until he overhears a conversation between his wife and one of her friends. To get revenge, he writes an article about her cheating, causing Christopher West Sr., Chris's grandfather, to apologize for his granddaughter's behavior.
