In his last journey, screenwriter Jean Claude Carrière returns to Spain and tells us about the painter who most influenced him, Francisco de Goya. Carrière talks about his influence on Buñuel and Surrealism, but also how Goya anticipated modernity, not only through painting technique, but also in the subjects that concerned him: war, migration, disability (Goya was deaf), the 'little people and above all, the stigmata of a mad world.
