Buongiorno, Notte plot
The story is told from the personal experience of young Anna, a terrorist who is part of the armed struggle and who is involved in a kidnapping. We see the complex world, shaped by the years of terrorism, according to Anna's understanding: a hopeless point of view, often fearful and consciously or unconsciously shortsighted with regard to the reality around her.

Less sensational than in the RAF film, but therefore also somewhat less exciting and still a bit of a standard kidnapping drama.
A bit lacking in depth actually, very little attention to the motives of our Red Brigades kidnappers and the fact that the main character never has direct contact with Aldo Moro is all a bit disappointing.
Further subdued and interesting to see how the kidnappers and Moro react to the messages from outside.

Not uninteresting for the Italian history lover. Half kind of documentary, half of everything made up. The not bad music of Pink Floyd is very sloppy in the meantime so in my opinion it does not have the intended dramatic effect. Nice attempt with an alternative ending that is somewhat more hopeful than the real ending.
But based on something far too vague: a girl who is nice in essence but yes, that is very trivial. Too constructed and pretentious, too much remains vague, so the whole thing remains stuck in good intentions.
