That Amanda Seyfried what a horny hot thing:T Liam Neeson plays a slightly more modest role than what I'm used to from him, this role of "adulterous" man suits him less. Story is really more drama than thriller, I was never watching with full suspense, what is coming next. Mostly I was just really happy with Amanda as Chloe, the rest was just not all, too ordinary for me.

Difficult to put a genre on the film. A bit too seedless to continue as a thriller, but it also doesn't really come into its own as a drama. Just like Liam Neeson, by the way, who I prefer to see play a tougher role. Can of course also be a self-fulfilling prophecy with its Taken franchise and other adepts.

Julianne Moore is always subdued in her roles, but here she continues with her obsession. You can also see it as a self-fulfilling prohecy by trapping her husband and then deciding that he is cheating on her. When something like Amanda Seyfried comes at you, it seems hard to resist. Too good to be true, that's also possible...

She is a fierce fatale Seyfried, especially here! However, I did not find the ending very interesting and the son could also be stolen from me earlier. Couldn't even place why he hated his mother so much. Not a bad movie, but not much more than average.

Ah.

It wasn't actually my own choice to watch this movie originally. It was mainly recommended to me and in company the film was then chosen. I don't think I would have set up the movie myself, because I can't imagine any element coming from this movie that really actively pulls me into the whole.

Chloe is little more than a somewhat weak story that is spiced up by competent and experienced actors. Seyfried in particular actually fits well in the film, but Neeson surprised me. Only in a negative way, because I don't think he really fits in this movie. There's a lot the best man can do, but I actually thought this role was rather silly because of the restraint required. Moore's opinion is exactly the same.

Visually quite sunny and chic, but that's about it. It's not much more than the usual, very classic directing that is sometimes underlined with an extra flare. Isn't necessarily necessary for these kinds of films, I just like it when the direction shows a bit more of itself. Now the story itself is central, but it suited me a lot less.

Some surprises towards the end ensure that the film never gets boring, but otherwise the progression can actually be called safe and good. We never get to see anything in this film that shocks, surprises or convinces. It's nice to tick off a few quick minutes, or maybe for some to see some actors naked, but it doesn't do much for me. So there is also a number.
