Like a modern take on A Midsummer Night's Dream, this film pays tribute to love. Professor Harry Stevenson (Morgan Freeman) watches over his circle of acquaintances, as it were. From a distance he sees the mutual relationships changing. From friendship to infatuation and sometimes from infatuation to sadness. All these relationships together and the connections between them form a contemporary romantic fable.
