Masjävlar plot
Urban thirties Mia goes for her father's 70th birthday to her native village in Dalecarlia, the countryside north of Stockholm. The youngest of 3 daughters is the only one who ever managed to get away from the province. While she has forgotten many people from her native village, they all seem to know exactly who Mia is. While preparations are made for the party, Mia meets acquaintances on her tour of the village and old conflicts, tensions and ingrained mechanisms come back to life.
