"The Guts and Glory Story Boldly and Bravely Told!"

The film follows the adventures of three American soldiers stationed in Italy during World War II. Fairchild (Corey) is an idealist who is against killing people. Preacher is a religious fanatic who can only consider everything in terms of Good and Evil. The trio's most notable character is Dooley (Rooney), a gambling addict who runs a fake mobile lottery along the Italian front.
