Yellow Canary plot
In 1940, Sally Maitland is forced to leave England after even being exiled by her family as a Nazi sympathizer. On the ship to Halifax, Canada, she meets wealthy Polish aristocrat Jan Orlock and British intelligence officer Jimmy Garrick. However, she is more interested in Orlock and accepts an invitation to meet his mother in Halifax. Once there, it becomes clear that no one is who they say they are.
