Self-assured and young Nanette tries to save her aunt and uncle's marriage by untangling her Uncle Jimmy's various innocent but alluring flirtations. For such a disentanglement attempt, Nanette enlists the help of the theater producer Bill Trainor, who promptly falls in love with her. The same happens when Nanette enlists the help of the artist Tom Gillespie. But soon Uncle Jimmy's flirtations have become so numerous that Nanette's romances with Tom and Bill get in trouble...
