Centuries in the future, a feudal society has emerged in the wake of the destruction of civilization. This area is now called the Badlands and is divided between seven rival barons. Each baron enforces his authority with the help of loyal armies of trained assassins known as Clippers. The most deadly clipper is Sunny (Daniel Wu), Baron Quinn's most trusted advisor. Quinn has been the most powerful baron in the Badlands for decades, but faces resistance from the area's newest baron, The Widow.
