Dynasties plot
Dynasties brings in-depth and intimate portraits of very specific, iconic animals, their families and their environment. All those animals were observed for months in their natural habitat, from the African savannas to the Indian jungle, and from the edge of the Sahara to the icy desert of Antarctica. It is a nature documentary with carefully worked out stories about animal families and their leaders. They must fight to survive in difficult circumstances and in a world where their habitat is increasingly threatened.

Beautiful five-part documentary series from BBC Earth, of course with a stately voice-over by David Attenborough. This time a somewhat different approach than usual; one type of animal is treated per episode. We see successively chimpanzees, penguins, lions, painted wolves and tigers. The series contains nothing that we have not seen before, but it is all beautifully presented again. The episode about the painted wolves is the best, the one about the tigers the least.
