Overspel plot
Amsterdam, 2011. The young photographer Iris Hoegaarde has been married for eight years to Pepijn van Erkel, a successful Public Prosecutor. Then she falls head over heels in love with Willem Steenhouwer. Willem is not just anyone, but he turns out to be the lawyer of the dubious real estate magnate and also the father of his wife Elsie: Huub Couwenberg. Pepijn van Erkel is meanwhile involved in a legal battle with this Huub Couwenberg on behalf of the Public Prosecution Service. Iris and Willem initially do not know this about each other and start a passionate affair.
