I didn't have very high expectations and they were met. The trailer is better than the movie. For the rest it gives what you can expect: caricatures, over the top acting, unbelievable, bad film sets (also very cliche and caricatured). Still, I was not bored. In the beginning there is acting at Hallmark level. This gets better and goes neatly towards the level of a good B movie. The chemistry between the two players is not really there, but because this chemistry is so often explicitly curious in the film, it almost becomes funny. You have to have the humor. In short: there is constant bickering about the relationship while they are shooting people and almost dying themselves or being captured. I do see the joke in it and found some of the jokes above average. Typically a movie for Friday night when you're tired, don't feel like intellectual stuff and just want to be entertained with nothing. I think the professional reviews are a bit too harsh, although the comment that chatgpt seems to have written the script is a good joke in itself and there is also a grain of truth in it. Anyway, it's definitely not good. It gives a bit of what you can expect from it. Only slightly worse. Therefore 2.5 stars.

Of course nothing new with this film. Two protagonists who have a love-hate relationship with unrealistic humorous remarks at times when they should be terrified. Over the top action where our heroes defeat groups of heavily armed bad guys. Picked up some things from Indiana Jones here and there so if you like those movies you should watch this one too. So for this genre another brick in the wall

Bland action comedy with two usually nice protagonists, both a bit miscast here. The chemistry between the two also leaves a lot to be desired. After a rather provocative romcom beginning, we end up in a weak espionage story, with a lot of action and spectacle, but it is all very dutifully executed and the film is nowhere able to distinguish itself. It's mostly forced. At one point a large procession of well-known names pass by in meaningless cameos, mainly related to Chris Evans, but that also makes no impression. The nicest role is actually from our own Marwan Kenzari.
