Chaos.

Maybe while watching a movie you sometimes have the question: "What would happen if a movie actually had no director?". Wonder Park provides the answer. By this I don't mean to say that the director is so broke, but that after a while this production literally had no director anymore. This is especially noticeable in the completely chaotic approach.

The structure of Wonder Park is hard to find. The director (who was eventually there after some confusion) catapults you through the storyline at a rapid pace and seems to want to do this so quickly that the plot holes and flaws soon become impossible to count on one hand. Perhaps the production was in a hurry, but nothing really comes out solid and enormous dilemmas are resolved with the snap of a finger.

In addition, it is all quite childish. Perhaps children themselves have no problem with that (Yes, duh, it is a children's film), but for a film that also has some more serious parts, that is not the best combination. All the constant hysteria isn't really very funny anywhere. I think it all happens too quickly for the target group to properly absorb it all, and that is worrying for a children's film.

No, Wonder Park is rather an unstructured and rather easy mess where it is clear that the production was simply a complete chaos. Fortunately, it all looks very nicely finished and the pounding pace guarantees an hour and a half of strong entertainment. No problems with that, but I think the film is simply too messy and moves too fast for children to even remotely understand.

As an amusement park nerd, I thought this would be fun.

But unfortunately I think it's too childish.

The jokes are very weak and not funny.

The screenplay is not strong.

I can think 'out of the box', but I thought this was all a bit too simple.

The only plus point is that the made-up attractions looked fun.

This is really only fun for little kids. A Disney or Pixar film often also has something fun to offer for adults, but that is not the case with this film.

Unfortunately, too bad, get rid of it!!!
