Le Consentement plot
A fourteen-year-old girl falls in love with the 50-year-old author Gabriel Matzneff. Their relationship is tacitly allowed by the close environment. I was annoyed for a long time by the unctuous rant of a celebrated writer, who fearlessly and ruthlessly sexually abused a young girl – who could have been his granddaughter – for years. It is incomprehensible that the girl's environment - the mother first - allowed the creep to do his thing all this time. Scandalous drama with a striking performance by Kim Higelin.
