As someone mentioned above, you can't ignore A Nightmare on Elm Street and The Hidden when you watch Shocker. After Freddy Krueger comes Horace Pinker, a serial killer who lives on as an energy being after his execution on the electric chair and takes possession of other bodies to continue his misdeeds . Although this is not a bad film, it gradually drags on to the umpteenth body switch and the umpteenth kills. It gets completely absurd when both Pinker and Parker are part of the TV shows being played. . I didn't like these kinds of fantasies, as well as some dream scenes, typical of Wes Craven's trademark, because of the much nonsense than A Nightmare on Elm Street (4*). Quite a contrast also for Pileggi, who would play the serious Walter Skinner in X-Files a few years later.

baby. Three for the price of one, but all together three times nothing. Or not much anyway. I especially dislike the tone of the film. Well turned on, but nowhere funny, nasty or anything like that. It is especially very busy. Story flies in all directions as soon as the poster scene comes up. Not bad in itself, were it not for the fact that it can hardly boast of something that impresses in any way. Not the killer anyway, he just keeps on roaring, that body hopping is only fun when he owns a little girl and although the lock has something in itself, hardly anything comes of it with all the foregoing. Wild movie, sure, but too bland and a total lack of stars. I don't remember much about this.

Mediocre film in which a serial killer is caught and ends in the electric chair. It takes too long for the premise (the soul of the killer traveling from body to body) to kick in. The movie could easily have been a lot shorter. The characters aren't exactly believable and the acting isn't very good either. Still entertaining here and there, but mostly in a wrong way.
