The Muppets are going on a world tour. They perform in sold-out theaters in some of Europe's most exciting destinations, including Berlin, Madrid and London. Not really.
The original of the Muppets had a funny concept, but this part is much less than that. Even though I'm not really a fan of the Muppets anyway, the film just disappointed me. Kids movies can be fun, but this one isn't.
The jokes are a bit bland but occasionally comedic. The story itself is absolutely unoriginal and is sometimes annoyingly predictable. The voices range from irritating to appropriate, so this is a fun film for children.
Fey in particular was irritating, but the rest did just fine. Not original, but quite smooth, and therefore gets a 2.5 *. The Muppets better come up with something more original if they put another movie on the big screen.

The concept of The Muppets will remain fantastic until the end of time. I love Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie and Animal all of them and Jim Henson remains a genius.
However, this does not mean that all films are equally good. The cuddly factor is still sufficiently present, but it is mainly the mediocre songs and clichéd actors that let it down. Tina Fey has never been able to captivate me and that commissioner from Modern Family was never convincing.
Because The Muppets have a huge gun factor I don't give an insufficient but it's not much difference.
